Just a FYI...Lets see if we can stir up the pot. A certain rider, in order to be happy with the Predator, had to put a Yamaha 426 carb on it.:devil ... MN people, no fair helping.

Bingo! Yeah I heard it was still a little gutless after the pipe (clamed 7hp gain) so they put the yz426 carb on. Heard this from Cody Anderson that rides with Rath.

Too true...when I first got my 400ex stock I was scared of it. Now I'm PO'ed its not faster. We'll see how the Pred does. I really like their looks. Cody did say that stock they're weak on the low end but the pipe really helps.

I like the look of the Predator. It's a nice machine but looks have nothing to do with performance

I don't really know Cody, I just ran into him at St. Boni motorsports and BS'ed for a few minutes. Seemed like a pretty nice guy.

I have a warrior bored to 450cc and all decked out...would i be unhappy with a 440ex?

I'm no expert but I ride with a guy that has a 440ex and I know another guy that has one and both regret it. Engine problems. These engines were both send in to be done professionally.

I talked to Daryl today at Moto-City and asked him about his predator he was running. He said they're doing lots of testing to find the best racing combinations that could possibly be offered for the 2004 model. He said he's trying out three different swingarms. He was running a shorter than stock arm today. He did say he was using the Yamaha carb. We all have thought that it looks weird that the front plastic doesn't cover the tank. Polaris is considering clear tanks so you can see what's there.
The prototype has been taken back and Polaris is going completly through it. Daryl still has his other three.
