Here's the problem; I inherited an '87 LT80, which was a mess. It would turn over, but not start.
I started tearing into it; rebuilt the carb, new reed valve, bored the cylinder .5mm over. I just got it all back together, it cranked over one stroke per one push of the start button. I cranked it about ten times this way. Then it just wouldn't crank at all.
My hope is that the starter won't compensate for the new found compression. I'm going to pull the plug and see if it will turn over.
Any other ideas???
Thanks,
Eric
