Hey I bet I'm a good reason John Houser came to this site. I just wrote him yesterday asking about something and in the letter I mentioned how his products are real popular at Exriders.:D

And its true the way we talk up Houser and Elka you would think they were sponsoring the site.:square

well, i have seen some ideas posted on here about the improvements of products etc. we have some smart people here with some great ideas....i figured maybe some may be of help.

i know id like to see a $850 dollar set of a arms come with a nice and functional place to hold the brake line:)

word, but what i did was bootleg my own

things needed

~ clear plastic r/c gas car muffler
~ red cloth
~zip ties

i cut the tube into 4 pieces about 3/4" long.

and i also got some red cloth i wraped the red fabric ounce around the a-arm and then fed a red ziptie throught the tube around it the a-arm and back through the tube, then i wrapped the zipties around the breakline and ziped it... it lookes good and i did 2 on each side..
the fabric is there so the sip tie doesnt damage the powdercoat... i can barely see it..

yeah ive done that also.....im done with that type of set up.

i will be calling jeff and ordering a set of billet brake line holders tomarrow i reckon. i like them alot.....but if the arms had a $3 tab on them it would be functional and save me $140 bucks:p

140 bucks for breakline holders,,,omg what a rip...sheesh

im basing that off of east coast atv's ad....i assume i can get them a bit cheaper.

i think 2R's has them...they dont move around and dont tear up the a arms or allow the brake line to rub off the powdercoat or mar the chrome.

12-11-2002, 09:39 PM
there are brake line holders for less than
1/2 that price out there

Was just kidding there Pappy, hope we come up with something good like a long travel swing arm.

I am pretty sure I saw those breakline holders for like 35.00 and have been after jeff for many months to get them.
