I had quite a few conversations with JRD through this site a while back. This hits the community really hard and especially those of us who are of the same age.
WTF!!!!!!!! Joey was the first member i ever met in person, we have been friends ever since, i cannot believe this. :(

RIP Joey.. Kid was a big inspiration to me when I first started riding. Met him my first day at chats.. I was actually hoping that someone would post a thread on this.
It's hard to believe that I'll never be able to ride with him again...
My prayers are with him, his family, and all his friends.

keep on ridin up there Joey! Ima miss you dude.. we always talked about riding together but with work and such never got the chance.. we were both getting back into riding and planned on going to Breezewood once I got a running quad back in order. :(
He was the nicest, down to earth kid I've met on here and it's a shame that this had to happen.. If I race this weekend it's goin out to you man!.. This is the 3rd person I've herd about loosing this morning, two of my buddys passed away in a car accident last night, pretty chitty morning :(

Hey josh, im sorry to hear about your other friends that passed away =[ 07-08 was horrible. Lost 2 of my close friends a little over a year ago in a car accident, 2 more kids i knew got killed in a car accident this year, one of my good racing buddies was paralyzed, and now one of my closest friends through atvriders passed away. this is horrible....:( :( :(

Dang I hate hearing things like this. Im pretty sure I raced against him at Unadilla last year. If it was him we battled it our for a lap or two. My prayers go out to his family and friends. RIP

damn i definitly remember him...horrible.
my close boy passed in a streetbike accident exactly one month ago today and i still am having a hard time dealing with it. you hear about kids dying all the time but when its someone you were close with, man it sure is alot different.
my prayers are with joeys close friends and family......i know first hand how hard it is.
Ride in Peace man, maybe youll meet my boy ben and tear it up together in heaven

To everyone wondering how it happened.... Joey was found dead in his house by his mom. They do not know what happened. They ran drug tests and they all came back negative, they have to wait 3-6 weeks for more results... Its horrible:(

Ive been waiting to express my condolences to see if they were able to determine a cause of death. If anyone does find out, please post it.
RIP Joey....shame to see such a loss at such a young age:(
Ill keep everyone updated on the cause. His good friend Dean will be getting back to me when they get the results in and i will let everyone know. RIP Joey :(
