Carb or Air filter?

I've been having a problem with the quad cutting out on the top end. It seem if I go past 1/2 throttle it cuts out. I know the airfilter is a bit dirty but i've had it worse before. Is it possible that somethings clogging the highspeed jets in the carb? I'm planing on looking at it tomorrow since i'm off but i'm trying to decide where to start.

hate to be a wise ***** but just clean the frickin filter first. the see what it does. sound like jetting but routine maintenance is a MUST !!! if you cant clean your air filter....walk:D

Always start with the easiest thing first. The filter takes maybe 5 minutes to clean. If it's it, problem solved. If it isn't you're out 5 minutes and have a clean filter.
