i have 2 of them. one off an 06 and the other off an 07. i want 200 for either one.

Don't the YFZ ones need some kind of modifications to work on a Z?

Not necessarily, but there are some topics at z400central that show what others have done to make theres fit and flow better. A DRZe400 intake boot will work better than forcing it into the stock one. Also using the 400ex airbox boot will flow better and get better dyno results with an adapter to mount it to the stock z airbox from JPMX this will also allow you to use the 400ex air filter that is bigger than the Z filter and top off the airbox with an EHS airbox lid. If you have a high compression motor and good exhaust to match you'll have a strong running reliable bike.
