i'm about to buy a lt r450. i noticed it had smaller rear wheels.. has anyone ever put bigger rear wheels? will it do anything to the gearing or affect the ride any?

You want the front tires to be at least 1" taller than the rears. It will make the gearing a little taller adding more top speed and less torque. If your talking about rim it wont affect gearing but you cant use bigger rims with the stock size tire.

Stock front I think are 20-7-10
Rears 18-10-8

The older LTR's tires are actually like 17" tall but say 18" on them

I put 20inch tires and 9inch rims on my ltr and i switched the gearin from 14,36 to 13,38 and its like stock again.

I have 21/7/10 in front and 20/11/9 at the back.I usually ran standard 14/36,but the engine did not rev out in top gear.I changed to 13/36 and this solved the problem. The power is more than enough and will be a hand full with 38 at the rear. This is only my opinion, because I do offroad racing.
