strokers cranks, who makes them, which ones are racers using, how much stroke do I want to gain, what the power gains, how many cc do they gain, any reliability issues any installation problems???? Bill

A 300ex you can get a +4.5mm stroke, and on a 250x you can get a +12.7mm stroke. It's the same crank as the 300ex is already a stroked 250x.

You can get cranks from Powroll, Sparks, etc... They usually run about $300-$400 for the crank.

Most racers don't stroke their 300ex's. Big Bore w/ lots of headwork, pipe and carb. Suspension is the most iportant upgrade for racing a 300ex, though.

I had the local machine shop, that rebuilt my crank, make an offset crank pin for me.

yes, the racers are limited to a 300cc max, so most people just bore,port,do valves and a cam and get on their way to the podium, but it really depends on the motor builder and how they feel, however if you are going to stroke it go with sparks!:devil: :D
