ok mine is stretched beyond use. a buddy of mine says non-oring chains have a noticeable performance advantage; truth? if so, what's a good brand? all i find are cheap ones.

On a dyno, it can show up as a few tenths of a hp, but thats it. As far as brand, im not sure.

I would go with renthal, they have a good selection of chains and drives. They are pricy but worth it. But the o-ring thing. I would rather have an o-ring chain b/c it will outlast a non o-ring chain IMO. Plus thats not a noticeable amout of power increase, so i wouldnt worry about that.

i got the Primary Drive Alloy Kit & O-Ring Chain combo and it is working great. i have never had to tighten the chain and it was only like 90 bucks. o ring chains last longer but require a bit more mantainece.

D.I.D. X-Ring. The only brand I will buy.
As far as O-Ring vs non O-Ring, unless you do nothing but drag race and are looking for every bit of power--don't bother. Buy a good O-Ring, X-Ring chain.
