300/400ex

I bought a 300ex for my daughter. I want to widen it and was told by a guy on a website called kidsonquads.com that the a-arms off of a 400ex will fit on a 300ex. Does anyone know if this is true. 400ex a-arms are everywhere but cant find much for a 300ex. any help would be great

Yes it is true. They will fit. Though, you will need 400EX front shocks and a relocator bracket aswell. You can most likely find the relocator bracket on EBay. I have this set-up on my old 300EX. Works very well.

the relocator bracket is for the top shock mount right? Are stock 400 a-arms longer than 300 a-arms?

Yes, its for the top mounts, and the A-arms i think are +1 3/4 or almost +2 I don't quite remember. Though, it is well worth it.
