I've been running Torco Mach 110. I found it at an oil place with a 24 hr pump. Last time I bought some it was $6.35/gal.

There all pretty good, its basically what you can get cheaper and easier. Whether it be Klotz, Cam two, Torco, VP, Powermist, etc.

If you talk to an engine builder they will recommend something specific. Certain fuels dyno better than others. I believe Rath found the Torco added 2hp or something like that compared to VP.

What 2 fuels were they comparing. You cant just say Torco vs. VP because they both make a variety of fuels.

I believe it was the MR101 vs Torco Stealth 104. I know the VP they tested is around $25/gal.

You guys are opening pandoras box. There is much more to a fuel than price and octane. Each fuel is blended specifically and they are all different. Some may dyno better than others, but you need to re-jet ACCORDINGLY for each fuel!

First question is, do you really need race fuel. If you run it sometimes and not other times, you probably dont need a high octane fuel if it's not pinging with regular pump fuel. Do not run an octane higher than necessary, you're just making your quad harder to start.

There is a LOT that goes into making fuels and some fuels just dont work well with some motors. Last I knew CAM 2 was not a good fuel to use on the 450R motors because the fuel was dense and the intake tract short, so the fuel didn't have time to properly atomize. Just some info to get the wheels turning, now do some real research on fuels.... search for topics and posts by GPracer2500, one of the most intelligent people to ever grace us here, and he knew a LOT about fuels.
