1986-1989 gas tank question???

Will a 1989 gas tank fit a 1986?

yes.

there are a few minor differences... but it will bolt up and work just fine....

They will work, but the caps are diff. (no biggie if u have one with a cap) only other difference is 86-87 had plastic strips running down the sides, but that doesnt affect anything really. Mounts are all in the same place.

Thanks guys. I just bought one on e-bay for $6.00. I took a chance that it would fit, but at $6.00 I figured I couldn't go wrong.
