whats up guys im new here, im 17 and just traded my eiger 400 for 2 2001 400 ex's i already sold one to my buddy after i took all the goody's off of it .
i have a few questions
whats is the best oil to run in it ?
Valvoline 4stroke 10w-40 sf or sg
mobil 1 sythetic 15w -50 ?

Theres a ton of fancy oils, but to tell you the truth its all in the rating.

Any 10w-40 with an sl/sm rating is good oil. I run STP 10w-40 with an SM rating.

sf or sg sounds pretty low in rating. The higher the letter the better. I think the highest off the shelf is sm.

Ive always ran SM. Much better oil. it seems to run just fine so I continue to use it.

the only thing i am worried about is burning up my clutch

The clutch will be fine with 10w-40:cool: As long as its the manufactures rating oil or higher

I run amsoil 20w50 motorcylce oil, i hear its the best and from the test i have read it is the best, to bad its like $10 a quart.

??? will this work?
