I just got a new R and havent been out to drag race it yet. I know drag races dont mean as much as everyone thinks but i am just using the race to figure how well straight aways and holeshots will go in races. I was wondering if you guys think I could beat a 03 stock Cannondale Blaze. My R has a CT 310 kit, 39PWK carb, k&n, v-force reeds in a CBR 250 reed cage, reed spacers, CT pipe and silencer, I am running a 180 main jet with 108 octane fuel. The dome is set up for the higher octane fuel. The Blaze is completely stock and running 93 octane fuel. The riders ability are the same and weight is the same. The R has brand new razrs and the Cannondale's tires are also brand new.
Both have stock gearing. I think I would take him on the line and run away with it. My R has a ton of power and is extremely easy to stand up in 6th gear. What do you guys think?

My Brother in law has an R with a ESR 310 kit and that thing is pretty damn fast. I think you should be right there with that Dale.

If your 310r can't beat a stock Blaze I'd be on the phone with Alan Knowles asking what went wrong. The c-dale is 40hp if its lucky, a 310r should be up around 45-50+ and weighs less. I've beaten cannondales on Rs that were still 250s running pump gas.

It looks like most people are pickin the R. I think a few still like the cannondale. They are both nice machines. O well...I bought the R for $3,600 and how much is a new Blaze. hahaha. I guess it was a pretty good deal considering all the other stuff it has besides motor mods. I know it has atleast 8000 in extras so i feel i came out pretty good. Dollar for dollar i dont think i could have got a better machine. Anybody else have experience with a blaze vs a 310?

Ouch, I bought my R for $2900 a few years ago as a ratty unported 250. I've since replaced or upgraded just about every part on it. Jeez, I should have built one from scratch! Oh well, sometimes the process is more fun than the end result. There, I said it, I LOVE working on my quad (no matter how much I cuss at it during!).

That is a pretty nice looking R too. Get some more pictures of your R from Different angles.

I think your 250r will take him down! On top speeds though I think thats were he would get ya.

You got one He11 of a deal on that 250r. I hope I can find one that good.

This is just my suggestion, loose the front lights.

I hear that, if there is anything else I want to do besides ride it is wrench on my R. Which is a good thing cause I break stuff alot:blah

That 310 should smoke the blaze. I dragged my buddies CT310 against a piped speed at the dunes and killed him dead.

really?

If this is true those canondales better watch out when they line up with me
The 310's dont have nothin on me, unless they have a pv I would guess.(I never raced a pv R)

I rode with two of my friends at Silver Lake, MI this summer. One had a Moto and the other a Speed. My CT330 MXer (midrange package on C12) killed them.
