Check this out went to Spook Hollow Mx track and this 400 swing arm took it tough poor kid didn't even really hit the jump and it busted right there. He waighed all of 100lbs. I did see him launch off a jump without a landing right before this and wacked the front good but next one it oke anyone ever see one like that.

judging by the pics it looks like it had been broke for a little bit from looking at the gouging wear marks inside the front half. Time for a houser.

maybe it was cracked before the race and it just made it snap

I know this is amazing but this kid is basically in my opinion an inexperianced rider this quad has been run mostly in Pennsylvania corn fields he didn't even hit the jumps barely my kid has an 03 same quad and has jumped many. Upon further inspection there are some small cracks in other welds and I actually have a houser on my quad so I sold them my old OEM. While we were looking at it I actually have some stress cracks in the one I sold him. The cracks in mine were underneath between 2 holes in the swingarm not the welds. It is pretty neat to see how they welded 2 pieces together to manufacturer this arm glad I bought a Houser so when mine clears a 60' it won't come unglued!

same thing happened to mine after I milled out the stock weld and lengthened it myself. Held for awhile but then that same thing happened. Don't even waste your time trying to reweld it.

yeah I just sold him my old stocker I bought a Houser. I haven't heard from him since. I'd be afraid to cut and extend the original equipment but then again I can't weld for crap wish I could.
