gearing after installing CRF flywheel

looking for some advice on gearing after you installed the CRF flywheel on your trx.

who has does this mod and how did it affect your gearing ?


with the one i have it will be like a -10 flywheel.

im assumimg you have the stator and crf electrics too ....right ?

hey buck, I'd bet your gonna be real confused after I tell you that HONDA's new CRF flywheel on the 09 CRF450R is dual magnet and heavier than before.... LOL!

and if i was using my bike for trail or mx then i would care about adding weight,but my bike go's in a straight line on pavement

just wondering, but what are you running in a 1/8 and if you konw, what do the r's run stock in the 1//8

when i had a DR.D slipon 11.5 wiseco piston and HRC cam i ran a 9.40 @ 71mph

after alots of changes it's around 7.50 at 85mph

stock would be around 9.60's

I wanna say Twisted's 04 ran 8.50's in the 1/8. Pretty much stock also. I will get him to post times and mods. I believe he had a pipe and like 22" rear tires

i know a HRC 450r runs 9.5 in the 1/8th. stock 400ex is 10.4 in the 1/8th
