Hey could some buddy help me out my 400ex when i`m sitting there and shift it fells like it`s grinding is this normal because when i`m driving it shifts good :confused:

Stupid question.. but are you using the clutch?

Kind of like a car. When you go to put in in gear without the clutch when your standing still, it grinds like a mother-f'er.

yea even when i pull the clutch in it still grinds :confused:

clutch might not be ingaging all the way

just because youre pulling the lever all the way doesnt mean the clutch is disengaging 100%. Try adjusting the lever if that doesnt work the clutch might be done

hey the clutch i`m watching it off the motor it`s engaging a hundred percent. The cluth is working realy good when i`m riding

what your seeing is the clutch cable working which would be step one the next would be to pull the clutch pack and check for wear.
