Well I built this bike from the ground up in 2003. After seeing Cale Dowen's trx I really wanted to do this, especially since I started racing an 86 R. Thanks to Capital powdercoating for the PC work and Slosh for designing the graphic and backgrounds.

that turned out sick!! Definetly have always loved the retro, kinda honda retro with a yamaha motor but it still looks great. I have one too so I'm not hating.

Nice looking bike. I have the same frame but built for a crf. Where did you get those air scoops?

Thanks for all the compliments.

Those are FullBore Scoops. I got them from Baldwin in 04. Not sure if FullBore still makes them.

Are they model specific scoops, like a 250r? I can't seem to figure out what scoops I need.

Yep there 250R scoops. They will need to be trimmed if you are using an oversize radiator.

Looks good - a retro seat cover would finish it off perfect IMO.

Is the QT hood painted or did it come that way?
