450r shock springs

put some 450 shocks on my 07 400ex they are a bit too stiff, was wondering if any one can recommend a brand of springs that are offerered in triple rate or dual wound, that would be a bit lighter? Thanks Bill

send em off to gt thunder or c&d racing to get them revalued and resprung for ur weight and style riding...night and day difference!

works has a triple rate kit... mine came too soft and i don't have many nice things to say about their customer service :ermm:

what are the weight rating for your springs, how much do you weight, and how fast do you ride. this info would help me select the right springs for me. I race hare scrambles I wt. 170, and run 40+ b I am 58 and usually finish just shy of mid pack out of 120 racers. Bill

i wish i remembered the exact specifications of my springs, but the order form is at home and im at school. i basically told them that i weigh 175 with gear, and i wanted an xc type setup with +2 arms. i also told them that i hit the track here and there, but i think they neglected that completely. i can bottom them out on small hits while not going that fast... for some reason the numbers 600, 600, and 250 come to mind for the springs...
