Will front shocks off of a 2005 and up Z400 fit on a 400Ex without any major modifications

You will have too consider the legnths b/w the 2. But i think they will interchange. Dont hold me too it bit they all are close to the same.

Did you notice the 03-04 z400's? The shock is almost identical.. When suzuki made the 400 to compete with the 400ex, they used a lot of similiar parts.

You probably couldnt tell a difference between the 03 z shocks and stock 400ex shocks..

On the 05 up, the frame didn't change, so same length shock. It will bolt up.

I was going to do it once being they;re cheaper than 450r shocks, but I pretty much lost intrest. I just take a beatin on the stockers.
