Major help!!!!

I have a 2007 Dvx 400 and it started smoking so I figured it was a cracked ring or something I took it abart and there is markings on the piston and grooves in the cylinder also I was getting alot of oil back into my airfilter and the top of the crank where it conects to the piston is it normal for you to be able to move it side to side any help at all would be nice thanks

Yea the piston can move from side to side thats perfectly normal. If you want to keep your dvx and the rest of your engine. re-place all your crank bearing. New piston new rings new gaskets. New cylinder also. Best to send your crank out have a pro do the bearings and have them balance it while there at it. That should fix everything. Might cost a pretty penny though.

ok thanks very much ive been waiting for about a week for someone to tell me whats wrong and i'm definitly getting a rebuild with a new cylinder and all gaskets in fact I think i'm going with the athena 430 big bore kit and if you insist i'll get new crank bearings also. O0o 1 more thing at the rist oin are there bearings there or no becasue when i took out the rist pin there were no bearings
