In my experience, over the years of owning a 200X, synthetic oils were hard on the clutch. Most automotive oils don't have the correct friction modifiers for a wet clutch.
I always ended up with a glazed and non functional clutch.
Now I only use Dino oil in any wet clutch application I have and never have any problems.
The specific (and expensive) bike synths are probably good but I never wanted to spend that much for frequent oil changes.

You can't run that grade of Mobil 1 as it has friction modifiers in it that will make the clutch slip. Look on the back of the bottle and the certification seal will state: "energy conserving"... an indication of the friction modifiers.

You can however run the Mobil 1 15w50 with the silver cap/red label, as well as the 15w50 gold cap extended performance as these are not energy conserving oils.

Shell Rotella T 5w40 synthetic is also safe for the clutch if you want a little thinner oil. Again, no friction modifiers, not energy conserving.
