Need help with chain/sprocket info.

I need to know if the stock 86 link chain will be long enough if I put a 14 tooth sprocket on the front and leave the 38 tooth sprocket on the rear of my sons 300ex? Will the 86 link chain be long enough for adjustments with these sprockets?

I put 14 tooth front sprocket on my 400ex and the chain had to be tightened.

yes the chain should be fine


tryken you had to tighten your chain because you are going down a tooth because you a 400ex

lori you should be fine i got 14 tooth on mine and i did not have to change the chain
