interlockin nubins on front plastic snapped off, help

here's my problem, the plastic "nubbins" on the front section of plastic on a 400ex that interlocks with the black plastic by the gas tank area all have snapped off, they were all put in properly, and snapped under normal wear and tear. If any of you have experienced this problem what have you done? aside from gettin new plastic.

had the same thing happen to me. I just leave them alone.

Drill holes and zip tie the two pieces together.
