I went ahead and gave it a shot and cant believe I have been missing out all these years. Pulled the powervalve off and made a simple cover plate. As soon as I revved it up I could tell it was different. Went to ride it and it seems to have at least 1000 more rpm. Way more fun to ride. To bad the hillclimbing season is over. So could I have it reported for even more rev since the pv is gone?

I bet your spring was adjusted too stiff...that would prevent the powervalve from opening no matter how high the rpm. Removing the valve all together essentially keeps the valve open all the time. (I bet you would get the same effect by removing the spring). You probably sacrificed a little bottom end torque, but you may not notice it with the monster 340cc's.
