what month issue did you read this in? , this post has come up before and I heard that service honda was going to put cr250 motors in the 400ex chassis that they had in stock because it is getting to the point where the dealer can not give them away, not a factorty effort but in house. called them and they will not confirm or deny this, which means they are up to something,I tell you I am disappointed that honda has left its paints down for this long , I am considering selling my r and x and starting a cr450 project, or maybe I will just buy a dale:confused:

its www.servicehonda.com not HONDA, its also 8k

the prob about the cr250 is its not counter balanced, lots of vibration leading to a cracked frame
