View Full Version : Looking for front engine mounts for a good cause.

My motor build has begun and we( Arlan Lehman of LED performance and myself) are to the point where we should start thinking about the custom pipe.
I have seen the blueprints and the templates for the steel. Arlan calls it the "TRX400 bigbore" and its a design that he never released while running LRD.
He has a 88 frame that someone butchered with a CR500 conversion, a mock up motor, but we are short front motor mounts.
Once we get the mounts he can move forward with the fabrication of my pipe and has mentioned that if there is a big enough interest he would do a short run if not more.

I really dont need chrome or show quality mounts. Cracked or rusty trashed ones are fine i just need some.

J I havent fogot about the pics and i think I may have some laying around that you can have i will check tommorow. But my question to you is didnt you say you know a good machinist? i need a spacer made can you help me?

Done most of the fabricating myself. Shoot me some pics and we can go from there. I should be able to help you come up with something.
Mounts would be great!!

i dont have pics for the pipe right now but i need a spacer!!! The dimensions are

OD-7/8
Length- 5/8

I have a pair of stock mounts ,
I know 1 has a very small crack I didnt notice it until they were bead blasted.
let me look for them but if you need them let me know I have absolutly no use for them ----but you can have them if you pay for the ride
