Closest i have is:
id=3/8
0d=7/8(on ends, middle is tapered)
length=3/4
The other thing is that both ends taper in towards the middle.

If it didnt taper i would take it and just grind it a little. does it taper right away or would i be able to grind a little on both sides and still have it hold its 7/8 od? post a pic if you could?

I dont think there's gonna be enough on each side the knock it down to the 5/8. Kind of close and it would be shy of 7/8od since the ends would be in the taper.

I own a machine shop and could make that for you if you don't find one.

I have never charged shop rate to a fellow quad/dirtbike rider. I've never had a fellow quad/dirtbike rider to question my shop rate though. I don't know how I'd react if someone questioned my shop rate when wanting something done. I'd probably kindly tell them to find someone else.

To anyone reading, IT WAS A JOKE about the shop rate. In fact i spent most of my time helping others for free. But i guess that was wrong of me to make a joke? I thought i was being helpfull by seeing a post with someone needing something. Then going out to the shop after 1 in the morning, digging through bins and mesuring out spacers, taking pics, and then helping the guy out and sending him the spacer.
Again, it was a joke. Sorry for trying to help someone.

I knew it was a joke....most machinists are good guys and most of us have done our fair share of reduced or even free work. Heck, just last week I had $200 (shop rate) in a piece I made for an 80yr old man for a grand piano. I didn't have the heart to charge him but he begged me for a price...I said $10 bucks.
I guess it's a pet peeve but I hate to see people gripe about shop rate. That's not to say some shop rates aren't over the top....but most are pretty reasonable.
