With the stock 400 EX gearing, at what horsepower level is a longer swingarm necessary to prevent flipping over backwards during aggressive acceleration? I'm contemplating a small Nitrous kit and I don't want to overdo it.

anything over 40 and it will become a issue

look at my sig

i would say i am in the 32-34 hp range

it wheelies Really easy and i have 22's and heavy 23's uf front

if i get a swingarm it will be a 1 1/4 inch longer on for mx and hills

with a 5hp shot i dont think it should be a issue, 10 or 20 is another story

Kewl Dood! What HP do you think the X-6 Pipe and 39 MM FCR will make together?

if 26-28 is stock then about 29-31

what you will see is across the whole band when comparing curves. the peak doesnt change that much but compare hp figures at 8k and you will see a stock motor at about 12hp and my motor at about 25-28. BIG DIFFERANCE

look at asparks website and look at the dyno CURVE over the ENTIRE band. peak is a little better but the ENTIRE curve is just so SEXY

:p :huh
