My Time For a Stupid Question

I have two quick questions. I have a LSR stem and I was wondering if the 450r mount was the same as the 400ex. I imagine they are but I wanted to make sure before I bought one. I seem to have the worst luck buying stuff that actually fits.
Second question is if I run 1 1/8 bars with the bar pad could I still run my key on the handlebars?

Im not too sure whether or not those will work because of them being bike mounts.

I was thinking that too but after looking around they look an aweful lot like the Roll Designs seen here.

Right now I'm thinking of just getting 7/8" bars instead.
