painting parts

this winter i am going to tear down my 400 and paint some stuff. here is some of the stuff i want to paint, with possible colors

-motor- black, polished fins like bbender85
-wheels- black, leave bead plain
-hubs- not sure on color
-a few other small parts, such as heat shield, motor mounts, shifter- not sure on color.

i remember seeing a thread on here that showed how to paint the rims with a rattle can, but cant find it. any tips on how to paint everything is wanted. and please do not suggest powdercoating, i dont have the money for that. Or if you have any other color suggestions, please tell.

i was thinking, with the shocks, how hard are they to take apart? i may paint or do something to those so it matches.

any other color ideas other than black?

i had an idea on how to paint it. i am unsure on doing the motor at this point, but here is a photoshop of what i want it look like. good, bad, or any other ideas?
