they remove your choke and bore it out to a 37mm. if you have access to a machine shop, (i work at one) it's a lot cheaper to do it yourself. i've been thinking about it but haven't gotten around to doing it so i don't know if the power increase is there or not.

I'm having mine done at Rocky Ridge racing here real soon and from what I've been told,,yes it's a noticable difference. I wouldn't trust myself doing it or anyone else that's never done it before though.

IF they're just boring the carb it shouldn't be a problem for any machine shop to do. If you know what they do to the carb could you post it. If I get a description of the mod then I'll do it to mine and let you know the power increase.

The stock size is a 35MM. Tell Santa to get you a FCR 39MM. Yes, the modded carb by Sparks $175 is a economical option but at what power increase? 2HP? The only advantage the modded carb has over the Sparks in terms of function is gas mileage. Who cares? We wanna KICK BUTT! Have Santas fat *** drop you a 39MM FCR down the chimney and get 6 or 7HP guaranteed!
