Is this a common proplem for LT 80

I have a 2005 kfx 80 it keeps getting things in the carb. I have cleaned it out like five times .I even bought a mini inline filter .When i goto start it the exhaust has gas in it . Does the petcock on these things go bad .I know not to put it on prime.Any help would be great...The thing runs great for like 2or 3 days an then i have to clean carb after it sits.

Go to a lawn mower/auto supply and get a on/off valve. About 3 bucks.
Prime runs fuel costantly, in the run position, it's off till the motor creates vaccum.
The hows and why's can be debated but the answer is a few bucks away. :)

Thanks LT 80 that was the trick .. The gas was still driping even when it was on or reserve which then filled the pipe..Thanks again....
