please don't paint them. when i bought my quad, the guy had painted them and it just looked AWFUL. i stripped the paint and even though they were scratched, they looked a ton better.

i believe there are a few places that sell plastic renewal stuff. i'd try that first. spray painted plastic just looks cheap and doesn't last long.

I used a 3M headlight restore kit I bought from Autozone and it did wonders on the 230quadrunner I am redoing, nice and shiny. I'll post pics when the wife comes home with her camera.

krylon spray paint works but never looks good, I got 2 cans of fusion "Green" and, it worked it didnt chip or run off but it turned out a weird buleish/green

now here is a guy who used automotive(sp?) paint and Polyurethane clear coat and looks great.

So, if the plastic is beyond fixing, automotive paint with proper preping and finising can go a long way. Spray paint looks tackey and is Only for the teporary!

Thanks lol did you have to use sand paper to get the paint to stick?

Yes 400-500 grit wet sand works well. The guy who used auto paint used bulldog adhesion promoter to get the paint to stick, if that helps.
