View Full Version : what is this bar for thats welded on my 250r frame???

i thot this would be the place to ask as you can see in the pic there is a bar that is welded on an it should not be there this is a 89 frame. thanks for any help

I don't thnk my 88 frames have that bar. Maybe someone had a engine skid plate(stock one is pretty whimpy) and he need that added to fit right?

It looks like a crf conversion mount, maybe that bike was a hybrid at one time

i'm goin with a hybrid of some sort, the tabs on the rear motor mount are missing also

yeah i think it was a hybrid but what motor would that be for... i dont know about crf maybe tho... id like to find out
