just to help you out a little bit, dont get a stepside ranger or s-10. one of my buddies has a stepside s-10 and his bike will not fit into it because the sides of the bed are closer. also check out autotrader, thats where i found my truck at.

yea i figured a stepside ranger or stepside s-10 would be too small. ive been checkin autotrader.com, craiglist, etc etc. but havent had much luck, figured id start a thread on here and see what happens. thanks for the input tho.

Can't complain about my truck. 4cyl, fits a quad in the bed when I take my tool box out. Relaible, runs great. Heres a old picture.

Neither can I. Gets the job done. FYI, look for an extended cab. You'll thank yourself the first time you go riding!

yes you will. I hate the fact that I have a single cab, but hell, you gotta start somewhere. Theres barely enough room for my 155 pc tool set.

This is worth another quote by far. By buddy and I both have/had rangers his is a regular cab and mine was extended. We could both pack for a weekend of riding or racing but I could bring the wife and the dog.

If you look for the bigger motors 4.3 or 4.0 you'll have room to grow. I saw 25mpg out of my ranger in DD mode (80 miles one way at a steady 55-60mph) but still managed to get almost 17 mpg in tow mode at the same speeds.

any pics of that gen III ranger in the background?

yea my brother has a single cab ranger, it's not his DD, but still if you have more than two people, it sucks haha.
