assembling parts?

what do you need to a ssemble,

pull the broach of the stock cam and put it on the hotcam, thats all you do

everything else is in the manual

valves at .005 and .006(exhaust)

ride for 20 min above 3k rpm. shut down and let completely cool and check clearance again

i changed my oil at this time and at 2hours. i did a piston too though

all you pull is the broach(the peice that holds the cam sprocket)

you DO NOT use the decompresser on the hotcam

you dont use your decompressor just the front flange. i would reccomend setting your valves at .005 intake .007 exhaust or at the hotcams spec of .006 .008. both these settings will be ok. i think that if you go any tighter youll start losing power. i have mine at the .006 and .008 it has a little more chatter but runs alot better then the tighter setup. remember that its solid lift and that every .001 you take away from the reccomended spec is a little power that your going to lose.believe me because ive built a many race cars and valve adjustment is critical.
