Anybody do any research or investigation into using alternate sources of energy as motivation for quads? i.e electric, compressed air, etc...
I've got a couple spare project quads that I've been doing some research for myself.
I just brought this up for discussions with some other engineers like myself, or anyone else that is curious or has valuable input.
It seems my biggest competition is Jamie Hyneman from Mythbusters... :D

However, I'm more interested in HP quads, not utility...
