i ride over in vernon at my friends house...or at my grandparents place.

i used to ride the railroad beds behind the sussex yamaha shop, but they got shut down cuz of some doorknob complaining for nothing.

Is there alot of places to ride over there? My friend used to ride somewhere in vernon.

I may be out out of a ride for a few.... Broke the damn drain bolt off in the oil tank.... Im hoping I can get it out.

In the winter and early spring months, theres a bunch of good spots to ride around here.... Let me know if you wanna come out and ride one day.

will do. actually there isnt a whole ton of area to ride in vernon. im sure there is more than i know of, but most of it is illegal and alot of the areas are pretty sensitive which i try to avoid. it sux cuz the few places that we used to be able to ride legally we cant anymore.

Theres a couple places I know of.

Have you guys ever rode on the Lackawanna cutoff? It's an old railroad that goes from the TA truckstop on 80 up here all the way into jersey. It passes over route 80 on that old bridge. The one with the archs.
Ive been on them a couple times. Not legal, and I always hear of people getting busted, but we've never seen any cops up there.

Then up here by me in NE PA theres the lost trails park. Pretty need place. And raush creek mx track. Has a few trails too.

in this pic, you can see all the housing that went in a few yrs ago on route 94. to the left about a mile would be mtn creek south.

possibly clearfield?

I'm heading up to murph this sunday with a bunch of guys. Lots of slate pits up there. I usually don't run a whole lot of trails, but I think it'll be fun to break away from some of the racing stuff.

i asked him where we were going and he said that you take 81 and get off at a mining exit or something like that. he wasnt real specific. i know that it is about 2.5 hrs from northern NJ
