fuel atv and dirt in the intake tube

ok, I have a fuel atv intake on my kfx450 and I noticed some fine dust in the intake tube. To me this is BAD. Is this unavoidable or is there a way to prevent this?

I"m thinking about switching back to the stock filter housing.

use a foam filter and KEEP IT CLEAN

i have open box and ride in some bad conditions. At long as you keep it oiled good you wont have a problem. i use foam filter oil instead on mine. works great

I wish I could use foam on it, but they dont make a foam for it.

I can go back to the stock air box where I run a foam. I always clean my filter after every ride.. I like foam over k&n..

a 450r filter fits. not as long but will bolt on.

Im not sure if it was one for the sparks adaptor or a stock filter. i believe it was stock. They fit find.
