Reed is on a Suzuki for sure... I saw a vid of him practicing for Supercross at Suzuki's test track on Racer X's website last week.... As far as how Bubba will do in 09, I'm pretty sure he'll be the man......

The San Manuel Band of Serrano Mission Indians is a federally recognized American Indian tribe located near the city of Highland, Calif. The Serrano Indians are the indigenous people of the San Bernardino highlands, passes, valleys and mountains who share a common language and culture. The San Manuel reservation was established in 1891 and recognized as sovereign nation with the right of self-government. Since time immemorial, the San Manuel tribal community has endured change and hardship. Amidst these challenges the tribe continued to maintain its unique form of governance. Like other governments it seeks to provide a better quality of life for its citizens by building infrastructure, maintaining civil services and promoting social, economic and cultural development. Today San Manuel tribal government oversees many governmental units including the departments of fire, public safety, education and environment

but his fans also need to realize that there is a difference between being a prick and knowing your the best. you guys see it as arrogance but all he sees is his speed and hes daring somebody to prove him wrong.

If you try to go up and talk to alot of the top atv riders, most are more than happy to stop for a sec and chat. Everyone I met was very down to earth, and happy to be apart of the sport.

Go try chattin with some of the top bike riders, and see how the attitude difference is. I can't speak for all.... But I have noticed for a certain few...... It appears that the world revolves around them.

Guys like Travis Pastrana, just seem happy to ride and happy for all the fans and support they are receiving.

I have always had good interactions with Bubba. And I have not talked to a person that has met him that has had a problem with him. Now I haven't met GOAT, but the few people I know say that he had a severe arrogance problem.

And if Bubbas attitude has changed, that is sad, because no matter how good you are at something you should always remain humble. You aren't going to be the best forever.....

AtvMxRider
10-04-2008, 12:26 PM
Most people that say Bubba or Ricky have a attitude problem have never even met them. They just go by what other people say. What most people fail to realize is the top pro's have alot of pressure on them during race weekend and they have a job they must do.

I will tell you always i am NOT a stewart fan. But to say he is arrogant and a dick to his fans? Im sorry people but that is Ricky Carmichael you are talking about.. Stewart has always been friendly and walks around the pits and talks to people at nationals.. Carmichael is a prick at races..

And im a huge Carmichael fan.

BUDDS CREEK 2004 OR 2005 NOT SURE BUT I TOOK MY HANDICAPPED SON TO THE PRO NATIONAL IN A WHEELCHAIR . HE LOVED JAMES STEWART! budds creek staff gave us all acess and we looked for james to sign a hat for my son and found him and he told us to come back later ! no problem we said so we went about our way and later saw him walking through the pro pits so i said hey james can we get this hat signed? he replied im busy right come around during the signing session so again we said ok! AT THIS POINT IM GETTING REAL PISSED {we were right there with him twice a kid in a wheechair WITH A MARKER AND A HAT!!!} so we rolled around the pits some more and a guy comes up to us and says hey do you like ricky carmichael? MY SON SAYS YEAH! SO HE SAYS COME ON OVER TO HIS MOTORHOME WITH ME SO OFF WE GO WE GET THERE AND HE GOES IN AND COMES BACK OUT WITH RICKY AND A BRAND NEW AUTOGRAPHED FOX JERSEY AND GIVES IT TO MY SON { ricky was not my sons favorite but he is now!!!} now to top this all off we run in to james a third time coming off the track on foot with 2 of his crew we stopped but didnt say anything and he looked right at us and said nothing and kept walking{ GOOD THING I DIDNT HAVE A GUN} so when he was about 40ft. passed us i yelled hey james! he looks back at us and i said never mind and held up the jersey!! he turned his head and kept walking so you people defending him have no clue he is a complete *******!!!!!

is this a sx only deal? he was killing it outdoors last year and i'd like to see how he does this year if reed runs outdoors and RV does to. last year, a couple times villipotto was running lap times 1 or 2 seconds off stewarts and if he can get used to the big bikes, he should be right up there with the best.

250r rider 88
10-05-2008, 08:36 AM
yes, stewart is SX only for right now, there was a big discussion about this awhile back, reed isnt confirmed on the outdoors but i would like to see him come out there, but hes not really needed with Suzuki having Allessi and Izzi,

i'm personally more excited for the lites class this year, Dungey is super fast and one of the few top riders that have been on the same bike for 2 years or more and i think him and trey canard are going to really make this SX season awesome as long as both stay healthy

next weekend is the U.S. open and its going to open the eyes of alot of fans and racers alike, the track design looks sick and with all the bike switching Dungey and some of those other guys that havent switched teams like Windham, Canard, etc. are going in as the favorites, but i honestly think RV will just blow everyone away and prove he is the force to be reckoned with this year on that 450

just throwing in my .02

jesseweaver
10-05-2008, 10:18 AM
i agree with RV blowing everyone away. i think he will be the next goat. last years mx of nations he pulled a holeshot against the best 450 riders in the world and ran away from them and he was on a lites bike. i think as long as he can get used to the big bike, he will rarely lose a moto in the years to come.

10-05-2008, 10:44 AM
sucks he's riding blue now. He's been riding green since he was a little kid.

i was a carmichael fan and still am. im supporting his go at NASCAR and i really think he will become a competitor. but i'll say this about James Stewart. a few folks in this thread was sayin he had a cocky ego, and an arrogance problem or what have you. well im not bein a prick to anyone on here but he reminds me of a line off of Kid Rock's song "Cocky"

"It aint braggin motherf*cker if you back it up"

I didnt see how he did yesterday at Talledega. He was in 4th when i was watching.

yea he was runnin like a regular and i believe he blowed a right rear tire like everyone else in that race friday. there have been alot of tire problems at talladega this weekend between 3 series. hoosier and goodyear both having problems.

i really think he will be a contender though. he was born to win.

i dont think RV looks to great in that video, but like he said its his first time on the bike and their still getting it set up for him. it does look like the bikes throwing him around though. hes got his elbows down a lot to and hes not over top of the bike and doesnt seem in control of it as stewart does. and it looks like hes getting off the back of the bike a lot to but i guess you want your weight about 50/50 in those sandy corners. and hes not whipping or scrubbing hardly anything but im sure he'll get used to it pretty quickly

FHKracingZ
10-07-2008, 09:28 PM
Thats not RV's first time on a 450.. he has been cross training riding a 450 once a week for the last year.. its his first time as a full time 450 rider.

anyone see this yet? Reedys looking pretty fast on the yellow bike. SX this year should be pretty good, and im hoping they make the tracks a little easier like they keep talking about so theres always a really close 3 or 4 man battle up front and not three quarters of the field getting lapped by the top 2 riders. i would really like to see stewart and reed and villipoto all run outdoors though, but i doubt that will happen:rolleyes: there would be some good battles there.
