I would like to remove the oil injection from my sons Viper 90r...is there a simple way to do this? I need step by step instructions if possible...What mixture should I use for the pre mix

Remove the oil tank and the line plug off the pump were the line went. Mix 32:1.... depending on what oil you use you can go as high as 50:1 and anywere in between.

That's it? just unplug the wire that goes to the pump and remove the tank?

That's it........ you can leave the pump in.

What wire?? it has two hoses on it one from the tank and one that gos to the carb. The pump is #28

There's no hose on it you sure that's not a low oil sensor. Then you may have to leave it pluged in and oil in the tank. Or see if you can jump it.

If I left it unplugged all that would happen is the light would be on no?

Not sure if will stop the spark or not just test it first......

on my son's kymco, I just put the two together from the harness... and removed the tank and the pump... then fabricated a plate to cover the oil pump hole...and plugged the hose from the carb... different quad but same episode....lol
