never seize on balljoints?

good idea or bad? just trying to avoid the mess the previous owner left on me by NEVER replacing the balljoints

talking about the part that goes into the spindle, by the way. not into the arm

Its a good idea on the ball joint where it threads into the arm, and I dont see where it could hurt where the ball joint slides into the spindle.
