I have an 88 lt250r I'm currently working on. I'm gonna be putting new tires and rims on. I wanted to know what people liked for their LT's. I'll be doing mostly trail riding w/ it so I do want some ground clearance and at least 4-6 ply. I was thinking of putting 20's in the rear, and sticking w/ my 21" iRazrs in the front (I already have them and they are brand new). I may also try a set of 22's for the front as well. For rears, I was leaning toward Kenda Klaws, Knarlys or regular Razrs because they are all relatively inexpensive. Any thoughts are welcomed..... Thanks

I have a '90 that I used to XC race and now it is a nice trail machine. The tires I liked best on mine were 22" Kenda Knarly XC on the rear and 22" Kenda Klaw XC on the front. They're not expensive and work really well in the woods. The 22" Knarly's are big tires, but a fresh LT250R will have no trouble spinning them at will.

I'm leaning toward 21" Kenda Knarly XC's for the rear. I get some ground clearance w/ them, but don't have an overly tall rear tire to go w/ my 21" front iRazr's. Plus, I can get them for $200 mounted on .160 Douglas rims.

Any other suggestions.....??
