They are std ball joints but they are the new lonestars that give a much greater range of motion

i think yoru bike looks frickin sweet. dana creech uses a hood on his fullbore so don't let them make ya feel bad. hey doesn't merrell extreme use those special no bind ball joints too?

yes he does juggs,

they are hard to explain, but they are like HEIM joints with a kingpin through the middle of them, they still get the movement and easy greasing of a HEIM

that front end looks great but how does it compare to lets say a Gibson or a roll design long tavel front end??? will it handle as good being a ball joint front end? it looks like a very good setup is this something new from lonestar?? it seems like lonestar has really gotton to be a good aftermarket company for chassis parts i am impressed with my lonestar crf450 frame and well those a-arms look great

That quad is awesome. Those a-arms look very nice. Give us a report on how well they hold up. Creech's quad is the BEST!

theres no such thing as bindless ball joints and there never will be. Leagers protraxx is the only system with bindless. Those lsr LT's look to use the same automotive tie rod ends as they're regualr a arms.

THEY ARE NOT THE HEIM TYPE BALL JOINT. THEY ARE A NEW BALL JOINT THAT ALLOWS FOR A GREATER RANGE OF MOVEMENT. THEY ARE NOT A BINDLESS BALL JOINT. EVERYFRONT END HAS IT'S PROBLEMS LIKE A LAEGER PRO TRAX HAS A MUCH LARGER TURNING RADIUS THEN SAY A ROLL OR GIBSON. A LAEGER ALSO HAS MORE BUMP STEER. WE HAVE NOT CHECKED THE BUMP STEER YET ON THIS LONESTAR FRONT END BUT AS SOON AS WE DO I WILL LET YOU KNOW. THE PRICE OF THE FRONT END IS ALSO LOW FOR A LONG TRAVEL FRONT END. 784.99

when i saw the lsr long travels, and the fact that they are redesigning everything, i was like hmm, maybe give them a shot cuz im wanting a 400ex frame that take the crf motor, the stocker dont last with me on it, but then i seen the stupid ball joints!!!, the reason i started goin with long travel was for the heavier ball joints, cuz those volkswagon tie rode ends broke my hip once on a set of burgards when the front end slammed down, john arens even stated that the automotive ball joints hardness sometimes dont even test as high as some aluminum. kingpin ball joints, or t-pin setup is only way to go for me

d-14, hows it goin
just so you know, the ball joint that lsr uses is not the vw tie rod end, they quit using that approx 1 1/2 yrs ago.
They now use a ball joint that is designed for this application.
Keith Little told me that he ran one set on his practice bike for the entire 2002 season and that one set is still working just fine.
they are also the same ball joints that Farr and Little and Hitt, used in the baja 1000 this year and for the last 2 years.
So the info that I got seems to tell me that they are working very well

it still threads into the a-arm, which i think is fine for the top ball joints, but on the lowers, no thanks, for me anyways.
