Spring tension test

What is the best way to test a torsion springs tension before it goes into the clutch?
Or is there a way? :confused:

with a spring tester,i use the intercomp digital valve spring tester...you can use a drill press and a set of bathroom scales.this is not perfect in means of psi but makes a very good comparator for different springs...

We picked up a spring tester from Jeggs, but it needs a mod to hold the torrque spings in place.

Hoping to have it operational in a week or two...then we can post the differenent starngths of the various springs at different compression points...new and after a couple of heat cycles.
