How tight should you go on these, I don't want to over tighten or worse yet strip it out.

I put mine on a block with the tires off the ground. Tighten it until there is resistance when you try to turn the back tires. Then loosen it untill they turn freely. Im not sure about how many ft lbs to tighten the jam nut, but its pretty tight.

Thanks, that gives me somthing to go by. I did notice the axel would get kind of hard to spin when I tightened it down hard.
