How to shipe quad?

I live in californa can some body give me some info on how to ship a quad? What is the best way to do that?

I made a pallet for the quad to fit on. tie it down and shrink rap with black shrink rap. I have sent quads from Calif. to Pa. several times and never had a problem

Where did you get the black rap from? Who did you ship with last? Did you insure the quad? Thanks for the info.
