Exhaust mount problem...

I got the Big Gun Evo X System yesterday and when i tryed to put it on the pipe just didnt fit right i tryed for an hour and a half and still wont go.The head pipe fit fine but the muffler didnt....
any idea why?

What do you mean when you say it didn't fit right? If the mounting holes for the muffler aren't lining up, they may have sent you the exhaust for an +06.

If they did, send the header and all back to them. The exhaust angle for the 04/05 is different than the +06.

the muffler mounts on the frame arent matching up
on the description it said 04-06
im probably going to go up to the place where i bought it and have them take a look at it and see if they can get it to fit

I think I read somewhere there is about 17mm difference between the mount for the 04/05 and +06. That's about 3/4".

well id say it was about 3/4 off

Scro is correct the rear mount is off by about 3/4" between the to and the head pipe bend is different

i got it to fit
just had to take off the end cap and beat it with a block of wood and a rubber sledge hammer lol
its pretty loud no vortex or silencer Motorcross set up:D

some manufacturers have began to make exhaust that fits 04-06+. I know nmotion does this.
