View Full Version : Bartow mx track in central florida

I know theirs alot of people in the area that use to run bartow mx track. The track layout has changed for the better,more table tops ,step ups and downs. it is still very sandy but maybe with more local support we can get them to add more clay. they are racing on Saturday night and Sunday morning. I know in the past it always use to run the same as dadecity but maybe we can change that to. I cant imagine them staying open much longer with the turn out i have seen.

Maybe we should try to persuade Brett (SSQSA Series) into trading one of the duplicating Thundercross races in Okeechobee for Bartow. Don't quite understand why it wasn't done in the first place.

Having 2 races at Thundercross gives the southern riders 2 events closer to them. All the rest of the events are more central FL except for AMP. By time that I got word that they would be able to hold a race at Bartow the Thundercross was a done deal.

Nice lay out, but they really need to run the track better. No rules are enforced. Pit riding people flying around on bikes every where. It's Chaos.

you wouldnt be the first to complain about pit riding, they have herd it from me more than once. but that starts with the parents, trust me my boy would ride more in the pit area , than the track if i would let him. Maybe they will listen to a few ideas if a few more riders show up.

Agree . Barefoot flaggers and all.. I tried to offer some suggestions. Ken, I'd be happy to tell you the details someday. For startes they need some structure and apply some rules, from pit riding to 10 year olds on a 90 riding the the 4-6 class. If they could get it together it would be a nice track to run. The new las out is great, and they DO a great job preping.

i think they are ready to start listning to our ideas.

we only had 5 quads show up the other night.

what about less money to race,like 15.00 a class.

send them some emails with your ideas that you would like to happen.
